SEK-WIS

SEK-WIS is a preventive and curative agent for many common problems that a plating bath operator faces either occasionally or regularly. Its use with modern electroplating brighteners greatly enhances the efficiency of the latter. In fact, SEK-WIS is as essential as addition agents for brighteners for all types of nickel plating.

The frequency and the quantity to be used, however, depend on the type of installation. It has a wide range of applications in different types of nickel plating like decorative, engineering and satin finishes. It is almost indispensable when nickel deposition is required prior to deposition of gold, silver, brass etc.

Since it is mainly used for troubleshooting, the way it is applied depends on the type of problem the operator faces, the type of job that is required to be done, etc. For example, a missing deposition on the Low Current Density (L.C.D) areas of the surface is a very common problem. This can be corrected easily with the proper use of  SEK-WIS.
